You told us that you wanted more articles on professional development; e-learning products and resources; funding opportunities; student e-learning impact; and e-learning in industry and business. And that’s what we will be delivering in forthcoming issues of this well-read newsletter.

More than two-thirds of respondents downloaded Framework resources as a result of reading an article in Flex e-News. The Flex e-News editorial team will continue to inform you of these invaluable, mostly free resources.

The majority of respondents shared their e-learning experiences, including Training and Development Coordinator Rachel Randall from South Australia, who is the winner of the seven-inch LCD digital photo frame for her great submission.

Rachel’s story was indicative of why Flex e-News exists. "Had I not come across an article in Flex e-News, then my organisation may have not saved thousands of dollars trying to find a suitable learning management system (LMS).

"I came across an article in Flex e-News that showcased the LMS Moodle and how other organisations were incorporating it into their training and development operations.

"This led me to explore Moodle and I started to engage in some 'online examples' which I thought would benefit my organisation.

"Since then, our organisation has been using this tool not only as a LMS but as an intranet."

Another valued subscriber submission came from Victorian high school teacher Kellie Winter, who revealed how she forwarded an article to her principal, who found it so relevant that he used it as a basis to write his own report and then distributed it to all school parents.

The winner of the random draw of survey participants for the in-car dual monitor DVD player was trainer Rosemary Crowe from Victoria.

Other comments included:

"Flex e-News is an excellent way to keep up with projects around the nation. So many good ideas have been adapted and used locally. Opens the mind to a whole new range of opportunities."
