Project team: Southern Metropolitan Regional Council of Adult Education, Victoria

This Mornington Peninsula community partnership will see marginalised young people (between the ages of 15 - 24) becoming active participants in media culture, their learning and in their community. It will create opportunities, connections and a sense of place for young people on the Peninsula utilising e-learning tools and technologies.

The partnership between Local Government, TAFE, ACFE, ACE and a community based organisation aims to provide physical and virtual learning spaces. It will also develop a model suitable for the individual needs of the participants and the local community.

Pathways into employment, further education or training will be identified for all participants through the development of the individual learning plans.  These plans will identify any barriers to further learning and employment including suggestions and guidance on appropriate pathways.
